BNP Paribas Cardif Rejected My Warranty Claim Despite Request Before Expiry
Following my complaint dated May 28, 2025, a representative from BNP Paribas Cardif named Mr. Er*** contacted me by phone, but verbally rejected my legal requests on the grounds that the warranty period had expired. My request for a written statement was also denied, and I was simply told that the call was being recorded. However, under Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers, any rejection communicated to the consumer must be provided in writing and with justification, making this response clearly unlawful. On January 31, 2024—before the warranty expired—I contacted Renault authorized service to request the replacement of faulty parts, which is documented in the service intake form. My earlier complaint on Xolvie explicitly stated that the vehicle was making noise from the undercarriage, which was also noted by the service. This proves that BNP Paribas Cardif failed to fulfill its contractual obligations. On February 21, 2024, I published another complaint titled “BNP Paribas Cardif Extended Warranty Scam,” stating that I had to visit the service center three times due to a malfunctioning air conditioner, which was only resolved on the third attempt. Although the sway bar bushings should have been replaced under warranty, I had to pay ₺3,000 by credit card. The company had previously stated that parts could not be replaced until the warranty expired but then refused to take responsibility once the warranty had lapsed. My requests are as follows: replacement of faulty parts under warranty, fulfillment of the incomplete service, a written and justified response acknowledging the unlawfulness of the verbal rejection, an investigation by relevant authorities into BNP Paribas Cardif’s bad faith conduct and the application of necessary sanctions to prevent further consumer harm, and for Renault to improve its customer service and warranty management. I respectfully demand that these clear legal violations be addressed. Otherwise, I will take all necessary legal action to pursue this matter through official channels. A review of previously filed complaints on Xolvie will clearly show the systemic nature of these issues.
