Seat Arona Radiator Failure Shortly After Warranty Expires

On my 2022 Seat Arona 1.0 Ecotsi Xperience (license plate 35 BEH 535), I experienced a cracked radiator just eight months after the warranty expired. I have had all my vehicle serviced exclusively at an authorized Seat mbu service center in Gaziemir/Izmir. The malfunction occurred on August 12, 2025, and my vehicle was taken to the service center. The warranty expires on December 9, 2024. The service center issued me an invoice for ₺18,249 (Invoice No: hns2025000001892, Invoice Date: August 15, 2025, Work Order No: ie02713, Customer Request Form No: 02713) without any discount or support. I had to pay this amount by credit card. Approximately ₺16,000 was stated as the cost of replacing the radiator alone. A similar problem occurred previously in another 2021 Seat Arona (license plate 35 DEN 96) belonging to our family, and at the time, Seat and Doğuş Otomotiv covered the cost, prioritizing customer satisfaction. However, this time, despite our commitment to the same brand and our vehicle being regularly serviced only at authorized service centers, the goodwill guarantee was not applied, and no support was offered. We corresponded with Doğuş Otomotiv customer representatives regarding the issue, and then received a phone call from Mr. E*** and Ms. S***. Despite providing all the details again, we were verbally informed that the problem was entirely due to user error and that no support would be provided. I would like to emphasize that the hood of my car has never been opened outside of an authorized service center. I find it deeply disappointing that a brand like Seat would abandon its customers in the face of a serious manufacturing defect that occurred so soon after the warranty expired. I demand a refund of the price I paid and compensation for the inconvenience I experienced due to a closed circuit part that was completely caused by a manufacturer's defect and whose regular maintenance was only carried out by an authorized service center.
