Chronic Brake Pad Problem With BMW G20, Waiting For Fix
I have a BMW G20 model car, which has a chronic brake pad problem, and it has been replaced twice before, under warranty, at Borusan Istinye BMW before reaching 25,000 km. The authorized personnel at Borusan Istinye assured me that the new brake pads installed after the last replacement would last around 40,000 km, which is a normal range, and that these brake pads were an improved version. However, the brake pads wore out again at 20,000 km. I had informed them that I would contact them if the brake pads wore out prematurely, and they had agreed without any issue. Currently, both the front and rear brake pads are starting to show signs of failure at 42,000 km. I had already replaced the front brake pads once at my own expense, and I do not understand how the brake pads wear out so quickly in a car. There seems to be a chronic problem, and it is not being resolved. I am requesting support in replacing my brake pads.
