The angel LED daytime running light on the left headlight of my 2021 road-legal BMW 2.16d msport, which I have been using since 28.10.2021, suddenly stopped turning on by itself for no reason. Based on this, I took the vehicle to Bursa Burmot authorized BMW service, where I have taken the vehicle 10 times in total for all maintenance and repairs since the first day. Later, my service team told me that they inspected the headlight and that it was not possible to repair the left headlight, and that the left headlight and its module needed to be replaced and that I would have to pay 63,500 TL + 3,600 TL for labor. Now, the LED angel headlight of the 2021 road-legal BMW 2.16d msport model vehicle turns off automatically, how does this happen? Could such a mistake occur in a vehicle with a list price of 2,568,200 TL? Why am I being asked for 67,100 TL for the Angel module when it costs approximately 3,500 TL? Am I responsible for this module failure? It shouldn't be my fault that the BMW 2.16d msport, which we chose based on our belief in its durability, causes such a problem on its own with 94,000 km. After seeing similar problems written as complaints on the internet, only one thing comes to mind: Is this LED problem chronic in BMW? If it is a chronic malfunction, it means a manufacturer's fault.
