Black & Decker Lawn Mower Gear Malfunctioned on First Use, Denied Warranty Service


Last year, I purchased a Black & Decker lawn mower, but during the very first use, the gear started slipping and wasn’t functioning properly. I contacted the service center to inquire about a warranty claim, but without even inspecting the machine, they immediately told me that it wouldn’t be covered under warranty. This response is frustrating, especially for a product that’s barely been used. I expect Black & Decker to stand by their products and offer proper support. I’m requesting that they re-evaluate the situation and offer a solution under warranty, as this issue occurred right from the start.
