I Received a Faulty Bioderma Photoderm Spot Sunscreen That Leaves Chalky Residue

On April 13, 2025, I purchased Bioderma Photoderm Spot sunscreen from the Mirmazel seller on Idefix. I’ve been a regular user of this product for years, so I instantly noticed something was off. The texture was thicker and denser than usual, completely different from what I’m used to. Instead of absorbing into my skin, it left behind a layer of chalky, eraser-like particles that flaked and sat on my face like powdered chalk.
Despite the product having an expiration date listed as 2027, it feels either spoiled or fake. After using it, I also developed small breakouts on my face. I reached out to Idefix, but they provided no support and didn’t even bother contacting the seller.
I am demanding a full refund for this defective product. This situation seriously damages my trust in both Bioderma and Idefix. I’ve also found multiple similar complaints online from others who received questionable products from different sellers around the same time.
I urge Bioderma to investigate and take action regarding the distribution of potentially counterfeit or expired products, especially when consumers’ skin health is at stake. I will no longer be purchasing from this brand if the issue is ignored.
