On December 31, 2024, I purchased a Beko KM1210 12 kg dryer from an authorized Beko dealer for approximately $833. I hardly used the machine during the summer, but as soon as I started using it regularly, I began experiencing a serious problem.
No matter which program I select, the dryer tears and damages our clothes — pajamas, sweatpants, jeans, and even underwear are coming out ripped or worn out. Especially my jeans and sweatpants became unusable after only a few drying cycles. The dryer can no longer protect our clothes, and I now have to air-dry everything manually.
I always use the correct settings, choosing low heat and mostly the “hanger dry – level 2” program. Despite this, the issue occurs every single time. People I know who own cheaper dryers from other brands say they have never experienced such problems. It’s extremely disappointing to have paid this much and ended up with a product that causes damage instead of convenience.
I have not yet contacted Beko customer service, but my product is still under warranty, and I have the original invoice. The installation was done by the authorized dealer, and there were no issues at that time.
I request a detailed inspection of the product and a resolution for my complaint. If it is determined that the issue originates from the machine itself, I demand a full refund of the purchase price.
