PhonePe UPI Payment Successful but BDG Wallet Balance Missing
On May 4, 2026, I made a UPI transfer of ₹6,000 through PhonePe to add funds to my BDG wallet. The transaction status in PhonePe shows as “successful.” The UPI/transaction details displayed are: VINAYKIRANSTOREWHOLESALEANDRETA60***@UPGRAMINBANK.
However, even though the transaction was marked successful, the $71 USD was neither credited to my BDG wallet nor refunded back to my bank account. After realizing the money was missing, I contacted both PhonePe customer support and my bank. Both parties confirmed that the transaction was completed successfully and that the payment was received by the merchant.
Despite this confirmation, I still have not received the money in my BDG wallet, and the amount has already been deducted from my bank balance. At this point, I am left without either the refund or the service I paid for.
I request an urgent investigation into this issue, a clear explanation of the exact status of my payment, and immediate action to either credit the funds correctly to my BDG wallet or refund the $71 USD back to my bank account as soon as possible. I also request written confirmation once the issue has been resolved.
