Bayer Contour Plus Elite Error E-64 Error

Because of my Type-1 diabetes diagnosis, I rely on the Contour Plus Elite device to check my blood sugar levels eight times daily. Every reporting period, I shell out thousands of ₺ on 20 boxes of strips for this device. I still have plenty of strips left. So last night, when I went to check my blood sugar, the device showed an E-64 error and just wouldn't work. I can't even begin to explain the fear and anxiety we felt last night. Even though Ascensia Diabetes Products had the support of a company like Bayer, they did not support their product. But when I bought ketone measurement strips for Libre, they threw in a free measurement device. I need a new Contour Plus Elite device sent to me as soon as possible.
