Medtronic Insulin Pump Battery Compartment Cracked Again

During the summer of 2023, the battery compartment of my Medtronic insulin pump cracked, and the company replaced it. However, about 6 months later, the same issue occurred again in the exact same spot. There was no incident of dropping the device, and even if there was, it's unlikely that the same area would crack again. The company is persistently suggesting that I purchase a new device. I am one of the first diabetic patients in Ankara to have this pump installed, which was done in the 2000s. Recently, I have not been getting satisfactory results from these newer machines, as the battery compartment keeps breaking apart. I cannot afford to buy a new machine, so I urgently request that my pump be replaced.
