Enterprise Rent-A-Car Charges Exorbitant Cleaning Fee
During the second day of my vacation, I picked up a rental car from Enterprise at Adnan Menderes Airport. My 3:30 PM reservation wasn't available, causing me to wait one and a half hours in the parking lot. To avoid delays, I accepted the car without a wash. However, upon returning the car after a 4-day rental, I was charged over 1600 TL for "detailed cleaning" due to beach sand. This charge contradicts my contract and is especially unfair considering I received a dirty car to begin with. Furthermore, their justification relies on clause 32 in the contract, which has no relevance to cleaning or vehicle condition. Despite contesting this charge for several days, neither the local office nor Enterprise headquarters has provided a solution. They keep closing my requests or claiming they can't be created. If they persist with this unreasonable charge, I will pursue legal action and report them to relevant authorities, including social media and consumer arbitration boards. I will not tolerate this unfair treatment.
