I purchased an Arçelik refrigerator in 2019, and before reaching its fifth year, it started leaking water from the corners (bottom freezer model). Shortly after, the upper section stopped cooling. While I was away, the freezer completely defrosted, ruining all my food.
I called Arçelik service, and they replaced the motor control board for a fee, but the problem was not fixed. They later took the fridge for repairs, but after returning it, the leaks continued. Within two months, it stopped cooling again. They took it away a second time, forcing me to use a loaner fridge, which I had to clean twice. After only 2-3 months, the issue returned!
This is my fourth service request, and I can’t deal with this any longer. I’ve had to stay home waiting for service, disrupting my life and my child’s schedule. Is this normal for a durable appliance? I demand a permanent solution before Ramadan starts this week. Do not take my fridge again—just fix the issue once and for all!
