Arçelik Refrigerator Developed a Gas Leak - I Was Offered Paid Replacement

In the fifth year of using my Arçelik refrigerator, a crack unexpectedly formed in the internal gas pipe, causing a gas leak. I believe this issue poses a serious threat to both my safety and health. I handed the refrigerator over to the service center five days ago, but they informed me that the device could not be repaired and offered me a new refrigerator for ₺28,000, even though I originally purchased the product for about ₺5,000. I want to clearly state that I do not accept the offer of a paid replacement, as the defect is clearly due to the product’s own fault. Even though my warranty has expired, I don’t believe it’s fair for me to bear the responsibility for such a serious manufacturing defect. When I spoke with customer service, I was again offered a new product at a cost. My service record number is 496509080. I am requesting either a free repair or a free product replacement and expect my grievance to be resolved.
