I purchased my Soundcore Life P3 earbuds from the MediaMarkt Antalya Konyaaltı Migros store on April 12, 2025. On September 3, 2026, I sent them to KVK service under warranty because they stopped working. Under service record number 2602915706, I learned that they had replaced my earbuds with a different model, the Life P3i, with the note “replaced with P3i.” However, the Life P3i is not an equivalent replacement for the Life P3. According to Anker/Soundcore’s own technical specifications, the Life P3 features 11 mm composite drivers, up to 50 hours of total playtime, up to 10 hours of playtime on a single charge, 6 microphones, multi-mode active noise cancellation for Transport/Outdoor/Indoor environments, touch controls, Gaming Mode, IPX5 water resistance, and wireless charging. The Life P3i, on the other hand, has 10 mm drivers, up to 36 hours of total playtime, up to 9 hours on a single charge, and 4 microphones, while features found on the Life P3, such as multi-mode ANC, Gaming Mode, and wireless charging, are not provided in the same way on the Life P3i. The difference between 50 and 36 hours of playtime, 11 mm and 10 mm drivers, and 6 and 4 microphones clearly shows that this is not simply a change in the product name or design. The manufacturer also identifies these products under different model numbers.

For this reason, I categorically reject the replacement of my defective Life P3 earbuds with the Life P3i, which has lower technical specifications. The fact that the P3i was provided to me does not mean that I accepted it as an equivalent replacement or waived any of my legal rights. During my communication with KVK, I was told that Anker had said, in essence, “This is what I have, so this is what I am sending,” and that KVK could not do anything else and that I needed to contact Anker directly. However, I expected my purchased Life P3 model to be replaced with an equivalent, defect-free product, yet I was given a model with lower specifications.

Under my statutory consumer rights pursuant to Article 11 of Law No. 6502, I request that my defective Life P3 earbuds be replaced with an equivalent, defect-free product that meets the technical specifications of the Life P3. If the Life P3 is no longer available, I request a replacement with an equivalent or superior model that is not lower in specifications than the Life P3i and that meets or exceeds the specifications of the Life P3. I do not accept the replacement with the lower-specification Life P3i and request that my grievance be resolved by providing a replacement at the Life P3 level or higher. Otherwise, I will apply to the Consumer Hake
