I have been trying to reach Amazon customer service by phone today in order to speak with a live person, but despite calling repeatedly for about two and a half hours, I have not been able to reach any real representative. I need to speak to someone live because I have changed my phone number and also want to add another order, and these are not issues I am comfortable or able to resolve through automated options only. I have already tried to reach Amazon through other channels such as the app or online contact options, but this has not solved my problem. My expectation is very clear: I want Amazon customer service to answer the phone with a live representative and assist me directly with updating my phone number and placing my new order as soon as possible.
