Amazon Won't Let Me Return Never Acquired Book Orders

I bought two books from Amazon, the shipment was by AGT courier and the estimated delivery date was today (28.07.2023) and it didn't arrive. they also say they tried to deliver it on july 26th but no one showed up. i want to return it but i can't return it until the product reaches me. I have not received it, I have begged many times that I will not be home tomorrow, but now I have to wait in case it arrives tomorrow. The only option for tomorrow will be the 4th day I will wait, and if not, my money will be wasted. amazon, which normally delivers next day, has deteriorated, I don't like it at all and I will not shop from Amazon again.
