AliExpress Refused to Refund Return Shipping After I Sent Back a Defective Item
I ordered a tracksuit featuring my child’s favorite character from AliExpress, and the total cost, including shipping, came to around ₺1400. Unfortunately, the item that arrived was far below expectations—poor quality and not at all as described.
During the return process, AliExpress customer service assured me that if I returned the item myself, I would receive a full refund including shipping costs. Trusting their word, I paid an additional ₺700 for international return shipping out of pocket and sent the item back.
While they did refund the original ₺1400, they never reimbursed the ₺700 shipping cost, even though they promised to. I followed every instruction and upheld my end of the return, but they failed to honor theirs.
I'm sharing this complaint so others know what to expect. AliExpress does not keep its refund promises and leaves the customer to absorb huge return costs. I demand that AliExpress reimburse the ₺700 shipping fee immediately, as previously stated by their own support team. If you can’t stand by your word, don’t make these claims in the first place.
