Aldo Shoes Caused Injury on First Wear – Rude Customer Service

I’ve been a loyal customer of Aldo Shoes for years, making numerous purchases. This time, I bought a simple pair of sandals, but after the first use, they were so stiff that they scraped the skin off my left toes. I took the sandals back to the store, asking for a solution. They suggested either stretching the sandals or sending them in for inspection. I left them at the store, and three days later, I was told to pick them up. When I arrived, they said the inspection was rejected without any explanation.
When I asked for more details, the staff rudely ignored me, dropped the sandals at the counter, and continued with other tasks. After I insisted on getting more information, they told me coldly that nothing could be done for these sandals, not even stretching. When I mentioned I wouldn’t be able to wear them, they simply said they couldn’t help me.
I then informed them that based on their lack of assistance, I would take the issue to consumer protection. That’s when a particularly disrespectful staff member, V*** a*****, rudely told me to “do whatever you want” in an almost confrontational manner.
I’m shocked by Aldo’s lack of support for their products and the disrespectful treatment from their staff. After years of loyalty to this brand, this experience has completely changed my opinion, and I will no longer use the products I own or shop with Aldo again.
