Akbank Did Not Remove Mortgage Despite Full Payment on My Property
Last year, I purchased Apartment 7 in the Meral Hanım Building, located in İzmir Karşıyaka Örnekköy, from your customer B*** I****. Despite paying off the full housing loan taken from your Narlıdere branch at the time of purchase, the mortgage has not been removed to this day. While other banks handle such matters automatically, you have caused us significant inconvenience. As a result, I will do everything in my power to avoid any interaction with your bank for the rest of my life, including discouraging my family and friends. Due to your bank's policies, I have been unable to sell my house, which I’ve been trying to finalize at the title deed office for days. Consequently, I cannot receive my money and address my financial needs. Despite calling your Narlıdere branch multiple times, I could not reach any authorized person. It is impossible to communicate by phone because no department other than the operator responds. You can rest assured that I will share this complaint on all possible social platforms. In a period where daily repo and interest rates are so high, you have caused me financial harm.
