Money Was Withdrawn From My Account Without My Permission

On August 8, 2024, an unauthorized transaction of ₺61,000 was made on my Akbank credit card through MediaMarkt abroad. On August 15, 2025, I noticed this and immediately called Akbank customer service, blocked my card, and submitted a written complaint to the relevant branch. However, a month has passed since then, and I have not received any written information or official response from the bank regarding the process. When I called customer service again, I was told that the process could take between 15 and 180 days to conclude, which is a completely unsatisfactory response. Due to vulnerabilities in the bank’s security system, I have suffered a loss as a customer. The fact that the bank’s security weaknesses have led to customer loss and dissatisfaction is unacceptable, and I have been directly affected by these unauthorized transactions.
Progress
On 08.08.2025, a total of 61,000 TL worth of purchases were made from my Akbank account through an international Media Markt without my knowledge. As soon as I noticed the transaction, I immediately contacted Akbank customer service, took all necessary security measures, and filed an objection stating that I did not make the transaction. However, my objection was rejected and I would like to specifically state that the explanation provided to me is not correct. I did not share the code I received with anyone, and in fact, I saw that such a message arrived only after 10 days had passed.
I do not accept being held responsible for this transaction in which I had no involvement. I request that this grievance, which was caused by the bank's security vulnerability, be resolved and that the withdrawn amount be refunded to me.
