Ajet Staff Were So Rude And Unprofessional - Made Me Miss My Flight
On 7 May 2026, I was scheduled to fly with Ajet on flight VF260 from Beirut to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen and then continue to Ercan (Lefkoşa), under the reservation code PNR 44EY53. At Beirut Airport, I had 14 kg of excess baggage and I clearly informed the Ajet ground staff that I was aware of the extra weight and ready to pay the excess baggage fee, which they told me would be about 250 USD. Despite my clear willingness to pay immediately, the staff refused to proceed with the payment, claimed there was no time, and ignored my attempts to resolve the situation. They did not try to help, did not offer any alternative option, and simply left me there, which directly caused me to miss my flight. In my opinion, there was still enough time to complete the payment and check-in process, but they did not listen or make any effort to solve the issue. After this incident, I submitted a feedback complaint through the Ajet website, but I have not received any response so far. I find both the behavior of the ground staff and the lack of follow-up from the company highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Since I was fully willing to pay the excess baggage fee and was still denied boarding due to the staff’s attitude and inaction, I request a full refund for the missed flight or free rebooking on the next available flight to Northern Cyprus, as well as reasonable compensation for the stress, inconvenience, and wasted time caused by your staff’s behavior.
Update: They didn't say anything regarding the staff treatment. They are still blaming me for coming late even though the check-in counter was still open when i arrived to the airport and was still allowing passengers to check-in. They are still claiming that I refused to pay. They didn't blame the agent( who kept checking my VALID permit over and over again and made me even more late.
