Ajet Boarding Denied Despite Early Arrival
On 29.01.2026 I was scheduled to fly with Ajet on flight VF4226 from Ankara to Malatya, with PNR code 3ZD42A. I arrived at the airport at around 15:00 and I did not have any checked luggage. When I spoke to the staff, they asked if I had a QR ticket. I confirmed that I did, and they told me that I could use this QR code, so I understood that everything was in order for boarding. After that, I went to eat something. At around 16:10 I went to the gate, but the staff there told me that the door was closed and I could not board the flight. I was not given any additional support or flexibility at the gate, even though I had arrived at the airport well in advance and had been told earlier that I could use my QR ticket. In addition to me, around 15 other passengers experienced the same situation and were also not allowed to board. Following this incident, I contacted Ajet customer service. They informed me that they would not provide any refund because they consider the situation as me being late for the flight. I do not find this fair, as I was at the airport early, had no luggage, and acted according to the information given by the staff about using my QR ticket. I request a full refund of the ticket price for flight VF4226 under PNR 3ZD42A, as I believe I fulfilled my responsibilities as a passenger and missed the flight mainly due to the way the process and communication were handled by the airline.
