Poor Service, Lost Luggage, and Disorder on Air Serbia Flights
On September 5, 2023, during Air Serbia Airlines flights ju809 from Ankara to Belgrade and ju580 to Barcelona, we experienced significant delays. Barely making it on board, our luggage wasn't as fortunate. It was lost, and aside from an automated email, we had no communication with the airline. Our vacation was ruined without our belongings.
Returning was no better. Flight ju809 from Barcelona to Belgrade was delayed by nearly 2 hours. Instead of ju808 from Ankara, we ended up on tk1082 to Istanbul and then tk2154 to Ankara after an exhausting 11 hours and 35 minutes. We were kept at the airport, hungry and without water, for 4-5 hours in chaos. While a hotel was arranged, we were not informed. Spending 1.5 hours in the hotel, we were then told to leave at 06:30, breakfast at 07:00, and endured another 10 hours hungry and exhausted. This was my son's first international trip. I plan to contact all local and national authorities for material and moral compensation. I will never choose Air Serbia again. How can an airline justify leaving a child without food and water?
