If Air Serbia damaged your luggage on an overseas flight, you must act quickly. Before departing the airport, contact the local baggage service or Lost & Found department to file a "Damage Property Report" (DPR).
This report is critical for tracking your claim and must be submitted before filing a reimbursement request with Air Serbia.
If you notice the damage after leaving the airport, you must notify the local Airport Baggage Services/Lost and Found at your arrival point within seven days (or 21 days if the baggage was delivered late) to initiate a DPR.
Subsequently, file a reimbursement claim with Air Serbia within the same timeframe. Prepare to give documentation that the damage occurred while your luggage was under Air Serbia's custody.
To register a compensation claim, visit Air Serbia's website and fill out the necessary form. Keep in mind that Air Serbia's liability for damaged baggage is limited under the Montreal Convention.
