On June 12, I purchased round-trip tickets through Mytrip for Air Montenegro flights 4O401 and 4O400, scheduled for August 29 (Istanbul–Tivat) and September 1 (Tivat–Istanbul). My reservation code is 11N875 and my ticket number is 1079-849-615. I paid 16,200 TL by credit card.
On July 19, I was informed that the airline had changed my flight and moved my ticket to August 30. In the same email, I was told that I could request a cancellation if I wished. I therefore submitted a cancellation request and the process was supposedly initiated. However, it has been nearly 45 days and I have received no update or resolution. Today, I was informed that Air Montenegro has declared bankruptcy and that my ticket will not be refunded. Mytrip directed me to the airline; the airline then stated that the matter must be handled by Mytrip. Despite multiple attempts via email, phone, and live chat, no solution has been provided.
Additionally, my ticket was an “flexible ticket,” and according to the terms, I had the right to change my travel date once for free. If I had been informed earlier about the airline’s bankruptcy and the fact that I would no longer be able to change my ticket, I would have postponed my travel to a later date. I request that my grievance be resolved and that my ticket fee be refunded.
