I Paid Extra Taxi Fare After Kiwi.com Showed Wrong Airport for Air Montenegro Flight

I booked a round-trip flight from Istanbul to Tivat with Air Montenegro through the Kiwi.com app. The outbound flight went smoothly. However, on the return leg, I was shocked to discover at the Tivat Airport that our flight was actually departing from Podgorica Airport instead—roughly 80 km away. This change was never communicated to me by Kiwi.com. Even on the day of departure, the app continued to show Tivat as the departure airport.

When I contacted Air Montenegro at the airport, they said the change had been made 12 days earlier. Kiwi.com didn’t send any update, notification, or email. With very limited time and no other transport options, we had to rush to Podgorica by taxi, which cost us €125. It was pure luck that we arrived early and found out in time—otherwise, we could have missed the flight entirely.

The app still incorrectly shows that we departed from Tivat. Kiwi.com clearly lacks reliable notification systems and offers no real-time support when things go wrong. A simple update could have saved us a stressful, expensive detour. I expect Kiwi.com to take accountability and reimburse the €125 taxi fare immediately. This level of negligence is unacceptable.
