I Received My Checked Luggage Broken in Three Places After Air Albania Flight from Tirana
On July 6, 2025, I flew from Tirana to Izmir with a tour group on Air Albania. When I arrived and collected my luggage at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, I was shocked to see my large suitcase completely damaged—cracked in three separate places and unusable. No one from the airline took responsibility on site.
Airport staff had me fill out a damage report and told me they would email me. They later said I should contact Air Albania directly. However, I’ve been unable to find a working phone number or a proper customer support channel to follow up. I’ve searched everywhere but there’s no way to reach anyone at Air Albania to resolve this.
This lack of accountability is unacceptable. I expect the airline to take full responsibility and compensate me with either a new suitcase or a refund. I’ve been patient long enough.
