Agoda Misrepresented The Best Hotel in Istanbul as 5-Star – False Advertising
I am pretty disappointed with Agoda for falsely advertising The Best Hotel in Istanbul Aksaray as a 5-star property. Upon arrival, I discovered that the hotel has no star rating at all and is, in fact, a basic establishment with very small, subpar rooms. This is a clear case of misleading advertising that misrepresents the property to unsuspecting customers. Agoda’s failure to provide accurate information not only ruined my stay but also undermined my trust in their platform. I expect Agoda to take accountability for this deception, immediately update the hotel’s listing to reflect its true status, and offer appropriate compensation for this unacceptable experience. Transparency with customers must be a priority.
