Agoda Customer Service Ignored Complaint About Poor Hotel Conditions

Between October 31 and November 7, 2025, I made a reservation (ID: 1664401531) through Agoda to stay at Sultanahmet Park Hotel in Istanbul. I paid a total of $274 by credit card. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the hotel did not match the description on Agoda at all. The room was extremely small, breakfast was not included, the property was advertised as a 4-star hotel but was more like a budget apartment, and the walls were deteriorating.
When I raised these issues with the hotel management, they offered no solution and told me they could not process a refund, advising me to contact Agoda instead. I attempted to reach Agoda customer service, but only received automated responses and could not speak to a real representative, leaving the issue unresolved.
I request that this situation be rectified. At the very least, I ask for a refund of the total amount paid minus one night’s stay, as compensation for the misleading description and poor service.
