Agoda Sold Me a Room That Didn’t Exist—Hotel Had No Record of My Booking
I’ve booked through Agoda before and while the room didn’t quite match the photos, I didn’t have major issues—until now. This time, I made a reservation for Aura Plus Hotel in Alaçatı under reservation number 1602985290. The booking went through on Agoda and was marked as confirmed.
But when I arrived at the hotel, the staff showed me their emails and booking system—they had never received any notification about my reservation. The room I paid for wasn’t even listed as available for sale. I was left standing there without a place to stay, completely stranded.
I tried to reach Agoda customer service, but it was impossible to get any help. No phone support, no live agent, and no response. I expected reliability and professionalism, and instead I ended up wasting my time and money.
Agoda, I demand a full refund and accountability. You charged me for a room that was never actually booked. This is a serious failure and needs to be resolved immediately.
