I booked a hotel in Cyprus through Agoda months in advance, including flights and all necessary arrangements. Just three days before my trip, Agoda suddenly canceled my reservation, claiming the hotel was overbooked and that they would issue a refund. How is this possible when I booked the room three months ago, and availability was confirmed at that time?
Instead of providing a real solution, Agoda offered me a ridiculous $58 Agoda Cash as compensation—completely unacceptable given that I have already paid for my hotel, flights, and transfers. Who is going to cover the additional costs now that I have to find last-minute accommodations? I do not want a refund, and I do not accept this cancellation. I want Agoda to honor my original reservation and provide a suitable replacement at the same standard.
