Agoda Charged Me but Hotel Canceled My Booking
I made a vacation reservation through Agoda, and shortly after, I received an email directly from the hotel stating that they had to cancel my booking. Despite the cancellation, Agoda still withdrew the full payment from my account.
This is completely unacceptable. If the hotel is not going to honor the reservation, why is Agoda listing them at all? This kind of miscommunication and lack of coordination between Agoda and its partners directly harms customers like me.
I didn’t receive the service I paid for, and yet my money was taken with no explanation or solution. Agoda, you need to issue an immediate full refund and ensure that hotels on your platform are actually available and committed to honoring bookings. Stop allowing your users to be left in the dark and financially penalized for your internal failures.
