Adidas Solarglide 6 M Defective After One Wear – Exchange Denied as "User Damage"

On October 12, 2024, I purchased a pair of Adidas Solarglide 6 M running shoes. I wore them for a single walk that same day and immediately noticed a defect: the inner lining at the front of the right shoe was deformed. The very next morning, on October 13, I returned to the store, filled out a form, and submitted the shoes for inspection.
On October 23, I received a message claiming the defect was "user-caused" and that an exchange was not possible. It’s unreasonable to think that one wear could cause such damage. Adidas has left me feeling frustrated and unsupported by refusing to stand by their product. I request a resolution to this issue and a replacement for the defective shoes.
