AddCar Latvia Repossesses Rental Car With Passenger Passport Inside

I have been using a rented Volkswagen Passat Variant from the AddCar office near Riga Airport in Latvia for about 8 months. My rental payment was delayed this month; however, without contacting me in any way, the vehicle parked in my home's underground garage was taken tonight without notice while my personal belongings and passport were inside.

Regarding this incident that occurred on July 24, 2026, between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM, I attempted to contact AddCar officials; however, I could not reach anyone because my phone calls were blocked. I was given no notice that the vehicle was being retrieved, nor has anyone contacted me regarding my belongings and passport.

I find taking the vehicle from a closed garage without my knowledge—while my personal belongings and passport were still inside—completely unacceptable and deeply harmful. I demand that AddCar contact me immediately to return all of my personal belongings and passport intact, and provide a necessary explanation and resolution for the distress caused.
