Academia.edu Withdrew 3.000₺ Without Consent for Annual Renewal

I had a one-month membership with Academia.edu, but without my knowledge or consent, a yearly subscription fee of 3.000₺ was withdrawn from my account. I contacted support by email, but they told me that the amount could not be refunded, even though I know other users in similar situations have received refunds. This is extremely unfair and unacceptable. I never authorized an annual renewal, nor was I informed that such a large charge would be taken automatically. Taking 3.000₺ from my account under the excuse of “automatic subscription renewal” without my approval is a clear violation of my consumer rights. I demand the immediate refund of the 3.000₺ and the cancellation of this unauthorized renewal. Academia.edu must stop misleading users and ensure transparent communication regarding subscription renewals. I expect prompt action and a proper resolution to this issue.
