I never received any notification that such a charge would be made, and I would never have agreed to this. Since then, I have been unable to reach anyone at Academia.edu—there are no clear contact details or proper customer support to assist me. This situation has caused me great financial hardship, as the money taken was all I had left. I urgently request the immediate refund of the 3.000₺ and proper support to resolve this issue. I also expect Academia.edu to provide clear communication channels and to stop misleading users under the name of “trial memberships.” I call on the company to return my money without delay and ensure no further unauthorized withdrawals occur.
