Report issue to telegram

On 10 October 2026 I was actively using my Telegram account when I was suddenly logged out. When I tried to log back in and recover my account, I realized that my account information had been changed without my permission, including my profile photo and my chat ID.

Before this problem, my correct chat ID was 1154412253 and people know and contact me with this ID. After the incident, Telegram showed me a different chat ID, 8833045696, which is not mine and which people do not know me by. This clearly shows that my account or identity in the system has been changed against my will.

Since this incident, I have not been able to use my account as before, and I am very worried that someone else may be accessing my personal data and contacts through this account. I did not authorize any third party to change my profile or chat ID, and I believe my account has been compromised.

My clear request is that my original Telegram account, together with my chats and data, be restored to me and secured with my correct chat ID 1154412253, and that the unauthorized new account or wrong ID 8833045696 be deleted or fully disabled so that no one else can use my identity.

I kindly ask you to investigate this situation, secure my account and inform me about the steps taken as soon as possible. You can contact me about this issue via my email address: [email protected].
