Zara Home Refunded Only One of Two Damaged Nightstands I Returned





On May 8, 2026, I purchased two nightstands and one vanity table from the Zara Home online store under order number 80092837404. When the shipment arrived, both nightstands were completely broken and unusable. The packaging contained virtually no protective cushioning materials and appeared to rely only on cardboard for protection. Given the lack of proper packaging, it was unfortunately not surprising that the furniture arrived in such severely damaged condition.
As soon as I received the products, I immediately initiated the return process and sent both damaged nightstands back. Despite returning both items, I have only received a refund for one of the nightstands. The refund for the second nightstand has still not been issued, even though both products were returned due to significant damage.
Even if the products had arrived in perfect condition, my return request should have been processed according to the applicable return policy. In this case, however, both nightstands were clearly defective and unusable from the moment they were delivered. The fact that products in such poor condition were shipped at all demonstrates a lack of proper quality control and insufficient attention during the packaging process.
I also have photographs taken immediately upon delivery that clearly show the condition of the damaged furniture and can provide them upon request. Due to the inadequate packaging, the damaged condition of the products, and the incomplete handling of my return, I am requesting that the refund for the second nightstand be issued to my account immediately.
If this issue is not resolved promptly, I intend to pursue all available consumer protection remedies and submit complaints to the appropriate regulatory and consumer authorities.
