Yapı Kredi Platinum Card Debt Closure and Staff Error

I am formally reporting a severe grievance regarding the debt restructuring of my Platinum card (Customer No: 3688***). Since Nov 2025, I have been dealing with misinformation from customer services (4440444/4440440). Due to this total loss of trust, I decided to fully close my debt on March 25, 2026. The closure amount was confirmed as ₺275,052.87. To ensure accuracy, I visited the Hürriyet Mahallesi Branch. I specifically instructed the teller (Personnel Code: U0102***) to perform a "Full Debt Closure," emphasizing past difficulties. Despite my instructions, the staff failed to process a "debt closure" and instead recorded it as a "fund transfer to the credit card" at exactly 13:56:51. Upon completion, the staff misleadingly claimed that "closure options are not available at the branch," effectively dismissing me. Customer services confirmed that although the funds reached the card (Ref: 252850107185), the system cannot process the "early closure" because of the branch's clerical error. My funds are now held in a pool while the debt remains active. I refuse to bear the burden of the bank's internal failures. I demand: 1. The immediate conversion of my payment into a "Full Debt Closure" effective from March 25. 2. A formal written confirmation (release letter). 3. The absolute waiver of any additional interest/fees caused by this negligence. 4. Compensation/apology for 4 months of severe psychological distress. Unless corrected within 24 hours, I will proceed with formal complaints to the BRSA (BDDK) and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding "Abuse of Trust."
