Yapı Kredi ATM Took My Money but Did Not Credit My Account
On March 16, 2026, at around 11:30 AM, while depositing cash at a Yapı Kredi Bank ATM located at the Bursa Nilüfer Fatih branch using my bank card, the ATM took my money in the amount of approximately $220 but did not credit it to my account.
Although the ATM belongs to the branch, when I went inside, I was told that they did not have access to open the machine and that I should contact customer service. I then called customer service, but I have been continuously redirected without receiving any clear solution or information, and the money still has not been credited to my account.
I request that this transaction be urgently investigated, that the approximately $220 taken by the ATM be immediately credited to my account, and that I be clearly informed about the outcome of this process. I also expect the way I was redirected between the branch and customer service to be reviewed to prevent similar issues from happening again.
