I Could Not Withdraw My Salary From a Yapı Kredi ATM on Payday

On June 21, 2026, which was my payday, I attempted to withdraw my salary from a Yapı Kredi ATM located in Davutlar Neighborhood, Kuşadası, Aydın. However, I was unable to withdraw any cash because the ATM displayed a message stating that cash withdrawal transactions could not be performed.

Despite being a payroll customer of Yapı Kredi, I was unable to access my salary on the very day it was deposited. Because there was no cash available at the ATM, I could not meet my immediate financial needs. Since it was Sunday and also the local market day in the area, I was left unable to make even basic purchases at the market.

After experiencing this problem, I tried to withdraw money from another bank’s ATM. However, when I requested assistance, I was informed that I could only withdraw approximately $22. This amount was far below what I needed and did not adequately address my situation.

As a payroll customer, being unable to withdraw cash from my own bank’s ATM on payday, while also facing severe withdrawal limitations at other ATMs, caused significant inconvenience and financial hardship. I request that Yapı Kredi ensure the ATM in Davutlar Neighborhood is adequately stocked with cash, especially on salary payment dates. I also ask the bank to provide reasonable flexibility regarding withdrawal limits and fees when customers are forced to use other banks’ ATMs due to cash shortages. Finally, I request that the necessary measures be taken to prevent this problem from happening again.
