On January 20, 2026, I purchased a Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 from the Mi.com website with the order number 5260**********74. During the purchase, I chose to take advantage of a $55 trade-in support promotion offered at the time. Following Xiaomi’s instructions, I sent my old phone to EasyCep, the company partnered with Xiaomi for this promotion.
However, even though EasyCep received my old phone, they did not make the promised payment. Since January 23, 2026, the $55 trade-in support payment has not been issued to me.
I have contacted Xiaomi customer service multiple times, but not only has no solution been provided, the $55 trade-in discount that I was promised as part of the campaign has still not been credited to me.
I have initiated legal proceedings against EasyCep, and the process is currently ongoing. However, because the $55 trade-in support was clearly promised during the purchase, I believe the responsibility lies with Xiaomi and its partnered company.
Therefore, I request that the $55 trade-in support promised in the promotion be paid to me in full without any further delay.
