Xiaomi Redmi 15C Cannot Download Photo Editing Plugin

I have been experiencing a photo editing issue on my Xiaomi Redmi 15C for approximately three months. Whenever I try to crop a photo that I have taken with the device, I receive a message stating “Download Plugin.” After that, another message appears saying, “To edit items, you must first download the plugin. Download now.”

Although I click the blue “Download” button every time, the download process never starts. As a result, I am unable to crop, edit, or make any changes to my photos. This problem has been ongoing for months and significantly limits the functionality of the device’s built-in gallery and editing tools.

I live in Akçay, Edremit, and there is no Xiaomi service center available in my area. Because of this, I am unable to have the device inspected locally or receive technical support in person. The issue appears to be software-related rather than hardware-related, as the editing feature fails specifically when the required plugin is supposed to download.

I request that Xiaomi investigate this software issue and release the necessary update or fix to restore the photo editing and cropping functions. I would like the plugin download process to work correctly and the photo editing features to become fully functional again without requiring additional workarounds or service visits.
