Opodo Charged Me for a Duplicate Wizz Air Ticket After System Error

On September 15, 2025, I tried to purchase a Wizz Air flight ticket from Bucharest to Hamburg through Opodo. However, the website displayed an error message, so I assumed the booking hadn’t gone through and bought another ticket from a different platform. Later, I discovered that Opodo had actually processed the booking as well.
The reservation code for the Opodo booking is WRICPX, and the flight date was September 17, 2025. When I noticed the issue, I contacted Opodo customer service, but they told me that the cancellation wouldn’t be possible—even though it was their error—and that I should contact the airline directly. Despite paying €290, I was unable to cancel or receive a refund.
I request that Opodo resolve this issue and refund the €290 charged for the duplicate booking.
