I hold a personal Wise account that I use while living in Pakistan to receive money from the UK. On 25 April my Wise account was suddenly blocked and I have been unable to transfer or access my funds since then. This is the first time I have ever experienced such an issue with Wise and there were no recent changes to my profile, documents, device or phone number before the block. Right before this happened, I made a transfer of around USD 5,000 to my father's Wise account. Shortly afterwards my own account was blocked without a clear explanation. At the moment, approximately GBP 13,000 of my money is frozen inside my Wise account and I cannot move it to my personal bank account or use it in any way. I contacted Wise support and escalated the matter to the complaints department, and my case is recorded under complaint number 45694880. Despite this, I have not received any response or update for 5 days, which is causing me serious stress and financial uncertainty because this is a significant amount for me. I kindly request that my account be urgently reviewed, my access restored and my Wise account reactivated, or at the very least that my full remaining balance be transferred to my personal bank account as soon as possible. I also expect a clear written explanation as to why my account was blocked and why there has been no response to my complaint so far.
