I recently added accurate, well-sourced information about a famous actor to Wikipedia, yet my contributions keep getting deleted. I thought Wikipedia was supposed to be a “free encyclopedia,” open to contributions from everyone, but I’m not seeing that freedom here. If my content isn’t suitable, I’d expect Wikipedia editors to make the updates themselves, but they’re not doing that either. This feels like a denial of my right to share verified information. If Wikipedia claims to be an open platform, it shouldn’t restrict well-sourced contributions. I’m requesting that my input be reviewed fairly and allowed to remain, respecting the rights of all users to contribute.
