WhatsApp Allowed an Unknown +91 Number to Message Me – Privacy at Risk

I recently received an unsolicited WhatsApp message from a number with the +91 country code. After researching, I discovered that this code belongs to India—a country with which I have no personal or business connections. This message was completely unexpected and left me feeling highly uncomfortable, raising serious concerns about my privacy and security.

I immediately blocked the sender, but I am deeply frustrated and demand an explanation. How did my phone number end up with an unknown contact? If my WhatsApp account has been compromised, my phone number misused without my consent, or any of my private data (messages, photos, etc.) accessed, I hold WhatsApp fully responsible. If my number is exploited for fraudulent activities such as unauthorized purchases, company registration, or debt under my name, I will not accept any liability.

WhatsApp must immediately investigate this issue, protect user data, and prevent unauthorized access. I expect a prompt response addressing this serious security risk!
