WhatsApp Allowed a Random +91 Number to Contact Me – Is My Data at Risk?

I recently received a WhatsApp message from a number with the +91 country code. After researching online, I found that this code belongs to India—a country with which I have no personal or business connections. This unexpected message was highly unsettling and raised major concerns about my privacy and security.

I immediately blocked the number, but I am extremely frustrated and demand an explanation. How did my phone number get into the hands of an unknown sender? If my account has been compromised, my phone number used without consent, or any of my private data (messages, photos, etc.) accessed, I hold WhatsApp fully responsible. I refuse to accept any liability if my number is exploited for fraudulent activities such as unauthorized purchases, company registration, or debt in my name.

WhatsApp must act immediately to investigate this issue, secure user data, and prevent unauthorized access. I expect a clear and urgent response addressing this serious security breach!
