I recently received a WhatsApp message from a number with the +91 country code. After checking online, I found that this code belongs to India—a country with which I have no personal or business connections. This unsolicited message was alarming and raised serious concerns about my privacy and data security.
I immediately blocked the number, but I am extremely frustrated and demand to know how my phone number ended up in the hands of an unknown sender. If my account details have been compromised, my phone number used without permission, or any of my personal data (messages, photos, etc.) accessed, I hold WhatsApp fully responsible. If my number is misused for fraudulent activities like unauthorized purchases, company registration, or debt in my name, I will not accept any liability.
WhatsApp must take urgent action to secure user data and prevent unauthorized access. I expect an immediate response addressing this security issue!
