Unsolicited WhatsApp Calls from +226 Numbers – Security Concern
On March 13, 2025, at around 10:23 AM, I received a suspicious WhatsApp voice call from an unknown foreign number: +226 75 43 50 37. The account name appeared as “Nana,” but I have no connection to this person or country. Without answering, I immediately blocked and reported the number.
This is not the first time—I've previously received calls from +260, +226, and other foreign country codes. This pattern strongly suggests a security vulnerability in WhatsApp’s system that allows random accounts to make unsolicited calls.
I demand urgent action from WhatsApp to address this issue and ensure user protection. Additionally, I do not accept any liability for fraudulent accounts, financial charges, or any misuse of my number. WhatsApp must take full responsibility for any potential security breaches. I expect an immediate response.
